What is a dry mix concrete batching plant?
The dry mix concrete batching plant is a kind of concrete plant compared to the wet concrete plant, it is more common internationally, especially in the South American market, and almost no one uses it in China. The dry mix concrete batching plant is mainly used to reduce the investment cost of the concrete plant. The mixer in the original concrete plant is canceled. After the material is weighed, it is directly discharged into the mixing tank truck, and then water is added to the tank truck, and the tank truck is stirred while walking. The following figure shows a typical dry mix concrete batching plant:
It can be seen that the top of the tank is a silo-like structure, which is used to store materials such as cement, fly ash, etc., next to the water tank, and the aggregate is directly transferred to the tank through the conveyor belt on the left.

Advantages of the dry mix concrete batching plant:
Investment costs for equipment are lower.
The design of the equipment is simpler, which is convenient for maintenance.
No blender, no daily job of cleaning the blender.
The production capacity is much higher than that of a wet mixing plant.
Disadvantages of dry mix concrete batching plant:
The main disadvantage of the dry mix concrete batching plant is that the quality of the produced concrete is not guaranteed. Since a concrete mixer truck is used for mixing, the truck must provide high speed as well as more damage to the truck.
The dry mix plant is mainly used in the situation where there is no concrete marking requirement and the mixing plant is far away from the construction site. This is very common in some foreign countries, especially in South America. the device is initially taken out of service.
